Earlier this week, rumors surfaced that WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair would be squaring off against Hulk Hogan at Starrcast V for his last ever match, and The Nature Boy has addressed those rumblings. Flair hasn't wrestled on television since losing to Sting—who is involved in AEW himself—on TNA IMPACT on September 12, 2011. Now he's set to come out of retirement for one more bout at the age of 73.
Flair is regarded by many as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, and his choice to come out of retirement one more time has raised a lot of questions. Fans are worried about his health, of course, but that hasn't stopped them from snapping up tickets for Starrcast V as they become available. Taking place on the same weekend as SummerSlam, "the Woodstock of Professional Wrestling" will feature The Roast of Ric Flair as well as his last wrestling match. Fans are also curious about who Flair will be coming out of retirement to wrestle, and he's addressed the buzz that it would be Hulk Hogan.

Speaking on his own podcast, Ric Flair To Be The Man, The Dirtiest Player In The Game had this to say about working with Hogan when asked by host Conrad Thompson if that was the case: "Not that I know. I think you would have run that by me… He’s invited. I’ve talked to him personally to come to the roast and come watch the match.
