PS5 Restock: Newegg Will Have Consoles In Stock At 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET

Update: Newegg will have the PS5 in stock at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET (May 10) as part of its Newegg Shuffle program. For those who are unfamiliar with the program, Newegg Shuffle is a lottery that picks random people who enter a drawing. If you're chosen, you get to purchase the PS5. So you'll have to get lucky here, but that's already the case with most PS5 restocks anyway.

The Newegg restock is the first one we've seen this week. Last week was another uneventful one for PS5 restocks, as we didn't see any restocks at major retailers. Mid-April was a busy time for PS5 restocks, as we saw consoles available at Walmart, GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy, and PS Direct. All of those restocks predictably sold out rather quickly, but it was nice to see a flurry of PS5 restocks following a quiet period over the last month or so. Also, if you're not registered on PS Direct, make sure to sign up to have a chance to participate in the next invite-only PS5 restock. Considering that PS5 restocks tend to come in waves every couple of weeks, we wouldn't be surprised to see another flurry of restocks in the next week or so.

Most restocks still take place online, but occasionally retailers such as Best Buy and GameStop announce in store restocks. Additionally, some recent PS5 restocks have been limited to members of various subscription programs at major retailers, including Amazon Prime, Walmart+, Best Buy Totaltech, and GameStop PowerUp Rewards
