Those looking for the very best Dragon-type Pokemon will need to weigh up a few different factors, including base stat totals, alternate forms, and secondary typings. The latter can even be used to justify adding two Dragon-type Pokemon to one's team, though choosing which two is perhaps easier said than done. This guide will hopefully be able to help a little in that regard.
Hisuian Goodra boasts fewer weaknesses and more resistances than its non-regional counterpart on account of it being a Steel / Dragon-type Pokemon. It's also completely immune to Poison-type attacks, which can come in pretty useful in certain situations. Its base stat distribution is arguably not quite as good as a regular Goodra, however, with the Hisuian variant sacrificing Speed for a little more Defense. This does make choosing a nature far easier though, with most opting for a Sassy Nature due to the Pokemon's already low Speed stat.
Players can catch themselves an Alpha Hisuian Goodra during the Mesprit's Trial section of the main story. Alternatively, they can evolve Hisuian Sliggoo from Level 50 onwards, though only while it's raining outside. Players can catch both Hisuian Sliggoo and its unevolved form Goomy in the Holm of Trials area of the Crimson Mirelands.
