These high-leveled creatures serve as the mini-bosses of the areas they are encountered in and are typically visibly larger than other Pokemon of the same type. One Pokemon Legends: Arceus player recently shared a short clip showcasing exactly how large Alpha Snorlax and Blissey are in Jubilife Village.
Alpha Pokemon are generally the largest size their species reach and may know moves that their species doesn't normally gain by leveling up. This means that capturing an Alpha Pokemon is often a good way for players to power up their teams in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. However, some gamers have also found other uses for Alpha Pokemon, including just marveling at their incredible size.

Redditor laurabxth shared a short video of the player walking past two massive Alpha Pokemon, the already-titanic Snorlax and the slightly smaller Blissey. Both Pokemon are shown towering over the player despite Blissey still sitting down. This is impressive, as the player character would generally be about the same size as a seated Snorlax or standing Blissey. The accompanying text states that the two Pokemon are (jokingly) laurabxth's last two brain cells.
In the clip, the player is standing far enough away from the two Pokemon that it can be difficult to see exactly how big they are. However, despite the distance, a bit of research heavily suggests that they are both Alphas due to size comparisons.
