Pokemon Go is kicking off its latest Season, the Season of Light, with the return of a familiar in-game event. Titled the Psychic Spectacular, this event will showcase and feature several Psychic-type Pokemon in the game.

This event will be available for a little less than a week, taking place from Tuesday, September 6, at 10 AM to Monday, September 12, at 8 PM, local time. Following the Psychic Pokemon theme, there will be several bonuses and changes to the game during this event - here's everything you need to know to make the most of these changes in the Psychic Spectacular.
The Psychic Spectacular marks the debut of Mega Alakazam in Pokemon Go. Throughout the course of this event, Mega Alakazam will appear in Mega Raids, giving you the opportunity to battle and then catch this Pokemon when defeated.
Due to the challenge Mega Raids present, it is recommended that you take on Mega Alakazam with the help of other Trainers.
Additionally, if you catch Alakazam through one of these Mega Raids or evolve Kadabra into Alakazam during the Psychic Spectacular, it will learn the featured attack for this event, Psychic. The stats for this Psychic-type Charged Attack are provided below.
During this event, there will be several Psychic-type Pokemon appearing in Raids. Team up with other Trainers to battle and catch the following Raid Pokemon, varying in difficulty depending on the type of Raid.
Additionally, they will be hosting Deoxys Raid Day on Sunday, September 11, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time. You can expect to benefit from the following in-game bonuses during this time.
