“From innovative indies to cutting-edge blockbusters, check out the most exciting games set to land on PS5 and PS4 in the coming year,” reads the description for the trailer, which is viewable below.
Games on show include PS5 console exclusives like Final Fantasy 16, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Forspoken, and Horizon Forbidden West expansion Burning Shores.
Also featured are Hogwarts Legacy, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Resident Evil 4, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Dead Space, Street Fighter 6, Alone in the Dark, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Wild Hearts.
There’s footage of PlayStation VR2 launch game Horizon: Call of the Mountain too, plus indie titles like tropical open-world adventure Tchia and bicycle road trip game Season: A Letter to the Future.
VGC previewed many of the games featured in the video over the holidays as we looked ahead to some of 2023’s biggest console and PC releases.
Sony said this month that PS5 has sold over 30 million units since its November 2020 launch.
Speaking during the company’s CES showcase, SIE president Jim Ryan claimed December was PS5’s biggest sales month yet, and that increased availability means more consumers can now purchase the console following long-running supply issues.
Sony will launch PlayStation VR2 on February 22, 2023. Priced at $549.99 / €599.99 / £529.99, the PS5 virtual reality hardware includes the PS VR2 headset, PS VR2 Sense controllers and stereo headphones.
