The Not-E3 showcases continue to roll out with Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest 2022 showcasing many new announcements while revisiting some previously announced games. Firaxis Games and 2K Games have been working on a turn-based combat title, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, and the Summer Game Fest Showcase provided us with a trailer for it. We got to see more than a few familiar faces joining the fight, including Venom.
The trailer also showed off more Lilith, the “Mother of Demons.” From the looks of it, she has done some villainous recruiting, slappin’ horns on the likes of Hulk, Venom, and more to join her entourage of demon entities. But, the Midnight Suns trailer also showed off the heroes that will stand against her. It looks like more than one Spider-Man will unite to defend wherever they’re at in the Marvel universe.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns is currently being developed by Firaxis Games (XCOM, XCOM2) and will release on October 7, 2022. This is good news considering the game saw a previous delay. The trailer also ended with a pre-order bonus announcement, that being a bonus Dr. Strange Defenders skin.
This story is under development.
