Paramount+ has announced that their new series, Guru Nation, will feature Mr. Show stars, Bob Odenkirk and David Cross. The two legendary actors first worked together on The Ben Stiller Show back in the early '90s. After that, the two went on to find success with their cult, hit sketch-comedy series, Mr. Show with Bob and David. The show ran for four seasons on HBO before it ended in 1998. A companion/spinoff series called With Bob and David did reunite the two for four half-hour episodes that premiered on Netflix in 2015.
After Mr. Show ended, the two actors continued to find success on different TV series. Cross starred in Fox’s hilarious Arrested Development as renowned psychotherapist/psychoanalyst Tobias Funke, while Odenkirk holds the role of Jimmy McGill, a.k.a. Saul Goodman in the hit AMC series, Better Call Saul. Both actors have also starred in numerous other roles in both TV and movies since their respective breakthrough roles.
