Microsoft Flight Simulator to get an extended 40th anniversary edition

techradar.comMicrosoft is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Microsoft Flight Simulator, the company's longest-running game franchise, with the release of an expanded edition of the game.
This new edition introduces helicopters, gliders and a bunch of classic aircrafts to the game. The world premiere trailer, announcing the new edition, shows the Spirit of Saint Louis monoplane, an Emerald Harbor Air commercial aircraft, an NR77V racing airplane and more. They'll all be available in this new anniversary edition of the game. Check out the trailer, and the aircraft, in action below:
The Microsoft Flight Simulator 40th Anniversary edition will release in November 2022 for Xbox consoles and PC. It'll also be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one.

How Pixar ‘heroed up’ Buzz Lightyear’s spacesuit
Pixar’s Lightyear isn’t another installment in the Toy Story movie series; it’s meant as a gritty science fiction adventure. The movie follows Space Ranger Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Chris Evans) — the sci-fi movie character, not the toy — as he accidentally maroons himself and a whole ship of rangers on a barren planet. Buzz desperately tries to fix the ship and get himself off the planet, which means he goes on various expeditions into space. To craft his space epic, the creative team at Pixar went to the closest thing we have to real-life Space Rangers. At NASA, they talked to actual astronauts and took extensive pictures of all the gadgets and gizmos involved in space exploration.
