Maisie Williams reveals that she does not miss anything from the hit HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones. Based on the immensely popular unfinished A Song of Ice and Fire series of novels by author George R.R. Martin, Game of Thrones first debuted on HBO in 2011. The show ran for eight seasons and became a worldwide sensation. The series ended in 2019 with its final episode being viewed by more than 19 million people.
Williams portrayed Arya Stark in Game of Thrones, a high-fantasy show centered around the political conflicts that arose after the death of King Robert I Baratheon (Mark Addy) in the fictional land of Westeros. Arya did not take after the other women in the show, preferring a bow and her sword to dresses and proper manners. After the murder of her father, Lord Eddard Stark of Winterfell (Sean Bean), she quickly escaped the capital city of King's Landing and had to survive. By the end of the show, Arya became a force to be reckoned with. Cunning and dangerous, she effortlessly sliced through the necks of those that wronged her family.
