There's a joke among the community about how The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim has been released on just about every possible system that can run it. There was even a rudimentary port to the Amazon Echo, which was unveiled a few years ago. With Bethesda releasing the Anniversary Edition at the end of 2021, there was seemingly no end to the epic RPG being pushed out to more and more devices. However, this re-release was not launched for the Switch, but there is a suggestion that it will be coming eventually.
According to a screenshot taken by Switch Brasil, it's possible that Skyrim Anniversary Edition will be getting ported to the hybrid console. The image captured shows that the game has reportedly been rated by the Taiwanese game rating board. However, the listing has since been removed for whatever reason, so the only piece of evidence to go off is the leaked screenshot. Given that, it's best to take the information with a grain of salt.

It would be remiss of Bethesda not to release this latest version of the game for the Switch, seeing as the Special Edition and original 2011 release are currently available on the Nintendo console. The Anniversary Edition comes with some additional content and features. As well as 500 Creation Club mods, players can also go fishing in Skyrim for the first time. Some might question just how much the studio can keep getting away with releasing the same game over and over, but it's still proving to be one of the biggest releases on the current market.
