In August, Samsung held its Unpacked event where it launched the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. While the smartphone did not come with major design or tech upgrades, it flaunted a 6.7inch 120Hz foldable Dynamic AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset and a rear dual camera setup with a 12MP ultrawide camera, and 12MP wide-angle camera. But it has been quite a few months since the launch of the smartphone and now, all eyes are awaiting the next iteration of the Samsung flip smartphone. But is the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 worth it? Based on a new tip from analyst Ross Young from DSCC, we reported earlier that Samsung is likely to enlarge the display size on the Galaxy Z Flip 5. Young said that Samsung could be offering a Cover Display that could measure between 3.3 - 3.4 inches. Compared to the 1.9-inch display on the Flip 4 now, this is a much larger display and will change the way things work. Some of the biggest advantages it can offer are a more functional UI, offering shortcuts to crucial apps and a better way to view notifications.
Another thing Young points out is towards the hinge design of the smartphone. He said that the Galaxy Z Flip 5 could also use a new hinge design that will reduce the crease on the folding display. The deep crease on Samsung foldables have been an issue for the longest time and the new hinge design might rectify it.
Finally, according to a South Korean news site The Elec, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 can also be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset which could provide a big performance jump while adding more energy efficiency to make the smartphone's battery last longer. Do note, all the information
