August is turning out to be a good month for PC Game Pass subscribers. Today, Microsoft outlined the next batch of games coming to the service. And it’s a nice list. We’re getting another Ubisoft game soon, as Immortals Fenyx Rising is heading to PC Game Pass in two weeks. It’s joined by seven others, most of which shouldn’t be ignored.
The new wave of games coming to the service begins today. Coffee Talk, a “talking simulator” that takes place in a Seattle coffee shop, is available to download today. Next week, you can get into a dust-up with Midnight Fight Express (day one launch), a brutal brawler that’ll be ready to play on August 23. On August 25, PC Game Pass gets Exapunks and Opus: Echo of Starsong — Full Bloom Edition. Admittedly, I’m not too familiar with these games. But the latter is a visual novel game with plenty of space-time romance, and the former is a hacking game from the makers of Shenzhen I/O — also on Game Pass.
August 30 brings the remaining games to the table. Immortals Fenyx Rising joins its Ubisoft friends on PC Game Pass to tie up August. It launches alongside Commandos 3 – HD Remaster, and Immortality. Tinykin also arrives on August 30 as a day one launch game.
Having Immortals Fenyx Rising finally on PC Game Pass is nice, but, as usual, new games come at a cost. On August 31, a whopping 10 games are departing the service. And they aren’t under-the-radar games, to be sure. Hades, Elite Dangerous, Signs of the Sojourner, Myst, Two Point Hospital, Spiritfarer, and a few more are out the door ahead of September. I am now regretting having Spiritfarer on my to-do list for this long.
