Former stars of the Harry Potter film series teamed up to celebrate the launch of Nintendo Switch Sports. Nintendo Switch Sports is the spiritual successor to the Nintendo games Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. The series' first appearance on the Nintendo Switch released today, and received generally positive reviews from critics.
Actors Tom Felton and Matthew Lewis are well known for their former roles in the Harry Potter film franchise, playing characters Draco Malfoy and Neville Longbottom, respectively. The film franchise, based on the wildly successful novels of the same name, is part of a massive multimedia industry which is also gearing up for a video game release of its own in the near future; Hogwarts Legacy is set to release in late 2022, and will give fans a chance to explore the iconic halls and grounds of Hogwarts.

Harry Potter stars Tom Felton and Matthew Lewis were unexpectedly reunited at a special event in London for the release of Nintendo Switch Sports. In Nintendo's Facebook post promoting the event, the two co-stars are seen with Joy-Cons participating in the game's tennis and bowling modes. Given the animosity Neville Longbottom and Draco Malfoy share in the movies, it's a bit jarring to see their actors cheerfully enjoying a round of tennis together. This could be seen as a testament to how enjoyable Nintendo Switch Sports is, or at least to how much the actors enjoy each other's company when the cameras aren't rolling.
