Gran Turismo 7's latest update arrives just one month after 1.06 was released. The newest patch includes a few minor fixes to two modes while adding some car manufacturers for players to add, though some aspects of Gran Turismo 7 that continue to receive criticism from fans remain unscathed.
In an official announcement, Polyphony Digital's Update 1.11 offers some bug fixes, new race events, and increased rewards. While some new content introduced in the update is a welcomed addition to the game, Gran Turismo 7 could still use some major fixes down the road.
Gran Turismo 7 Latest Update Seeks to Fix Launch Issues
Along with seven car manufacturer invitations, including Aston Martin, Bugatti, Citroën, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani, and Porsche, Update 1.11 fixes an issue related to Invitations expiring well before they should have. Gran Turismo 7 currently has over 400 available cars, and providing players with some new manufacturers is never a bad thing, but the omission of certain bugs persisting in the game leaves many wondering when they'll be addressed. Currently, players are reporting that they only receive the cheapest prize in roulette on every attempt, regardless of the conditions, pointing out that the current system appears to be severely broken.
The only other issue resolved in the new update is in World Circuits, fixing the background music failing to play at the start and finish lines of a race. The minor update concludes there, and while Polyphony Digital makes due on some of its promises, specifically increasing rewards and the number of cars, it misses the mark on some of the bigger concerns.
