Minor controversies have surrounded the upcoming Gotham Knights game ever since it was first announced. Arkham series fans expecting a new single-player game were disappointed to learn not only that Gotham Knights is a multiplayer looter, but that Batman isn't even in it. Batgirl's story has also been criticized for leaning on ableist tropes, which the developers have since addressed. Perhaps the biggest controversy — or smallest, depending on how you look at it — is the size of Nightwing's backside. Apparently, some fans think Gotham Knights’ version of the hero isn't quite as caked up as they were expecting.
In a recent Discord Q&A, director Geoff Ellenor said he's been getting DMs about Nightwing's butt ever since the first trailer premiered. At the time, Ellenor said the team was "currently comfortable with the size of Nightwing's posterior."

Nightwing actor Christopher Sean has been getting a lot of feedback on the hero's glutes as well. In a roundtable interview at San Diego Comic-Con today, Sean said fans have been sending him plenty of butt-related theme songs, including DNCE's Cake By The Ocean. I asked Sean if he thinks Nightwing's ass should be bigger, and this is what he said.
