At the beginning of Genshin Impact, players are given Anemo or wind abilities which they can use in combat. Players can also unlock Geo abilities which can be used for combat and travel. After some recent updates, Genshin Impact players can now use all seven elements. These include Pyro (fire), Geo (earth), Dendro (nature), Cryo (ice), Electro (lightning), Anemo (wind), and Hydro (water). Many Genshin Impact characters can make use of these abilities, however in the case of the Traveler, the main character can only use Anemo, Electro, or Geo.
When building a team in Genshin Impact, players will need to use the most optimum combination of elemental abilities in Genshin Impact. The synergy between these abilities can give players extra bonuses, buffs, and advantages in battles. In addition, players can combine two or more elemental statuses by switching between characters and attacking enemies with combos. When these combos are used, damage from Elemental Reactions also scales when the character’s Elemental Mastery is increased by using certain weapons and artifacts.
