A modder has decided to turn the Commonwealth of Fallout 4 into some kind of volcanic wasteland. The Fallout series is known for its interesting and bizarre vaults, and the games are also noteworthy for their landscapes obliterated by a nuclear war that left in its wake a desolate world full of mutated beasts and anarchic societies. Once players leave the relative safety of their underground dwellings, they venture out to greet the remains of the Commonwealth.

In this case, it turns the Commonwealth into a scorched wasteland, covered in burning magma and ash, with vegetation «clinging to life.» According to the description, it is meant to represent the aftermath of a devastating volcanic eruption that occurred just outside Boston, where the game takes place.
