With over 40 minutes of new reveals, sneak peeks, and updates, this latest Nintendo Direct may be the best this year — especially for Fire Emblem fans. While The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the clear standout of the presentation, fans had plenty of other reveals to chew on, such as the announcement of a new Story of Seasons, Octopath Traveler 2, and of course, Fire Emblem: Engage, which is getting a pretty packed collector's edition.
Releasing surprisingly soon, as the game is scheduled to debut in January of next year, Fire Emblem: Engage continues the mainline Fire Emblem series, which hasn't had a new entry since 2019's Fire Emblem: Three Houses. This new title sees the player assume the role of a «Divine Dragon,» capable of summoning the spirits of previous iconic Fire Emblem protagonists like Marth. Alongside the trailer, the game's Divine Edition was announced, which gives fans a host of physical collectible goodies on top of the base game.

For Fire Emblem fans, the Fire Emblem: Engage — Divine Edition is an absolute must-buy. Along with the physical copy of the game, in its standard Nintendo Switch box, the Divine Edition also comes with a sleek steelbook case. The design on the steelbook itself is nothing overly unique, with it essentially being just an expanded version of the standard box art, but that art is fantastic and suits the look of a steelbook nicely.
Fire Emblem: Engage — Divine Edition also comes packed with a slew of other physical goodies. Fans can expect to find a miniature art book inside the Divine Edition, packed to the brim with fully-colored character designs and concept art from the game.
