Skyrim has a number of unique locations, factions, abilities, and secrets to uncover, but its sequel, known only as The Elder Scrolls 6, is set to further build upon this foundation in a number of ways.
Skyrim is widely considered to be one of the best western RPGs ever made, and much of its success can be attributed to its sprawling map and interesting lore. The game presents several traditional fantasy elements: dragons, magic, and powerful forces of good and evil, to name a few. Players may also remember a war between the Imperials and the Stormcloaks, which was at the center of a lengthy questline. Players could ultimately pick a side in this war and play a role in the outcome of the overall conflict. This war is a major part of Skyrim's lore, but there are several conflicts between different races and factions that define the game world, even if elements like Skyrim's prison system don't make much sense.

According to rumors shared by SKULLZI (via Game Rant), The Elder Scrolls 6 is planning on expanding this system of politics beyond what was presented in Skyrim. SKULLZI states in a Tweet that The Elder Scrolls 6 "will have a political system" and goes on to report a rumor that things like marriages, and faction allegiances "will matter", suggesting that these choices will play a bigger role in this Skyrim sequel.
