The Glintstone Scarab is a helmet in Elden Ring that slightly reduces the FP costs of Sorceries at the price of increased damage taken. Such a buff would pair well with Spirit Ashes that can keep enemies busy while the bug-headed spellcaster can keep their distance while casting more Sorcery Spells. To acquire this headpiece, Tarnished must make their way into the Raya Lucaria Academy in Elden Ring.
Raya Lucaria sits in the center of Liurnia of the Lakes, the region north of Limgrave. Tarnished can arrive at this location by completing the Stormveil Castle or skipping the first Legacy Dungeon entirely by trekking on the secluded cliffside trail north of Stormhill. Once adventurers get to Liurnia, they must head northwest until reaching the Academy. However, the establishment does not permit outsiders access into its walls, only granting admission to those who possess the Academy Glintstone Key. Fortunately, Tarnished can pick one up nearby, at the island directly west of the Academy. However, players should be wary of the slumbering Dragon guarding the key's location. Next, with the Glintstone Key in possession, Tarnished can pass through the magical barrier of Raya Lucaria.

Once adventurers have made their way to the Debate Parlor and defeated the Red Wolf of Ragadon in Elden Ring, they need to head out into the courtyard in the north. To the left of the enclosure sits a long broken stairway leading to the next area. Jump onto the first beam connected to the staircase to walk across the gap. Be mindful of the giant rolling balls that will spawn once the player begins to ascend.
