To fully experience everything this game has to offer, you should take things slow and complete the side quests available throughout Villedor. However, some of them will be more challenging than others. For example, in the "The First Biomarker" quest, you'll have to solve a riddle to open a safe in one of Old Villedor's hospitals. This guide contains all the information you need to complete The First Biomarker side quest.
To unlock this side quest, you need to go to the trading Post Settlement in Trinity. There you'll find a guy named McGregor, talk to him, and he will tell Aiden that he is the one who came up with the Biomarker design. However, the one Aiden is wearing is a newer version. According to McGregor, the original Biomarker was much more useful.
A dialogue wheel will appear, and you'll be able to ask McGregor what he is doing in a trading post and how exactly the first Biomarker was better.
McGregor will explain that the original design monitored the infection's progression and made people stronger and faster. This statement will pique Aiden's interest, so you'll have the option to question McGregor further to no why aren't people using the first version of the Biomarker instead. McGregor will explain that the first model came with "minor" side effects but won't explain what they were.
