Dying Light 2 is full of fun and exciting ways to get around its map, especially when using a grappling hook. As players progress through the game's main story, they will eventually level up their parkour skills in Dying Light 2 and receive new items, like the paraglider, that make traversing the game's open-world much easier. As players continue through the man story, they will be introduced to the Nightrunners, a group of people that set out into the world years ago to light up trails with UV lights and establish Safe Houses where the infected can't reach them. As players continue through the main story, they'll acquire old Nightrunner tools like the UV Flashlight and the game-changing Grappling Hook.
While players were able to get the Grappling Hook in the original Dying Light relatively early in its main story, players will have to progress closer to the end of the story in Dying Light 2to get their hands on the Grappling Hook. Not only that, but the Dying Light 2's Grappling Hook performs much differently than its counterpart in its original game. This is a good thing because Dying Light's original Grapple Hook was highly overpowered and made the game's parkour pretty trivial.

That being said, the Grapple Hookcan do much more than just propel the player to the location it attaches to, like the original game. Aside from making Dying Light 2's windmills parkour challenge easier, the new Grappling Hook can act as a rope for players, swinging them around buildings like Spider-Man.
