Dying Light 2 is packed full of content for players to complete after beating the game, though reaching the endgame material isn't specifically limited to post-game activities only. Once players make their final decisions in the epilogue of Dying Light 2, they'll be reverted back to the point just before the «no return» part of the main story where side quests and all other content is locked. This allows players the opportunity to complete all other activities that they might have missed or had been saving until they beat Dying Light 2. Additionally, while the game reverts back, the epilogue cannot be played through again in a Dying Light 2 save once it is completed.
While Dying Light 2 developer Techland tweeted that it will take 500 hours to complete the game to 100%, they also released an infographic breaking down how long it takes to beat Dying Light 2's main story and side quests. The main story should take players about 20 hours to complete on its own, while the sidequests of Dying Light 2 will require another 80. With another 400 hours remaining to reach 100% completion, there are plenty of activities for players to experience in Dying Light 2.

One of the best features of Dying Light 2 is the ability to play Co-Op with others online, which only impacts the host's save file. This means that players who have beaten the main story of Dying Light 2 can join their friend's lobbies to help them along their journey, and they'll even be able to keep all of their own character progression when they return to their own story.
