The game, which will allegedly be 80 GB in size on Xbox, will release in a Standard, Digital Deluxe, and Ultimate Edition.
It was reported earlier this year by Window’s Central that the game would release in April. This report received pushback from members of the Diablo team, however, no firm date has been revealed.
A new trailer and a release date announcement are expected at Thursday’s The Game Awards. Diablo’s social media channels are currently running a “Lilith is coming” social media campaign teasing an upcoming announcement, which is expected later this week.

As more information on the game has been released, the game’s director and associate game director have consistently stressed that players won’t be able to spend real money to upgrade their character’s abilities.
