Friday's THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2022 event was packed full of new game announcements. One of the most interesting and surprising reveals is for the co-op sci-fi property development simulator Space for Sale. THQ Nordic dropped a short trailer forSpace for Sale, followed by launching the game's Steam profile, website, and Discord community, offering up a robust first look at what could be a game worth watching going forward. THQ Nordic clearly has high hopes for it.
As its name implies, Space for Sale is a sci-fi sim game where players develop properties on alien planets in an effort to sell them for profit. Played from an isometric perspective, players control a tiny spaceman. They take their spaceman to procedurally-generated landscapes, where they'll collect resources and build increasingly complex (and valuable) buildings and estates. Aliens are very demanding, after all. Satisfying alien demands, dealing with harsh landscapes, and efficiently spending cash are just a few challenges players will face in Space for Sale.

There is, of course, one other major feature that Space for Sale players will want to make the most of. Space for Sale will have full support for drop-in/drop-out cooperative multiplayer with up to two players. It's unclear exactly how co-op will work, but players will assumedly be able to gather resources and build independently. How selling works and who profits from property sales will have to be explored in futureSpace for Sale reveals.
