Nintendo releases a new image showing off the main characters that players will get to know in Bayonetta 3. Releasing on October 28, Bayonetta 3 takes the titular Umbra Witch to an island known as Thule, as well as some other real-world locations. The stakes of Bayonetta 3's story seem to have been increased in comparison to past games, as now Bayonetta has to fight to protect both her own universe and the multiverse.
Returning to the fast-paced combat the Bayonetta series is well known for and including a story that takes the Umbra Witch to new and exciting places, it is clear to see why Bayonetta 3 is one of the more highly anticipated Switch games releasing in 2022. However, even with all the hype around Bayonetta 3, there are a lot of things that the game will need in order to live up to those expectations. Including having great combat and a story to match, a lot of fans want to see how the new character Viola works in Bayonetta 3.

Introducing a new character to any established franchise can be tough, but it seems Nintendo is making an effort to inform fans who Viola is in a new image posted on the company's website. The image introduces the main three witches of Bayonetta 3, including the iconic protagonist Bayonetta, her best friend and rival Jeanne, and Viola, alongside the demon Cheshire. Cheshire, a large, multicolored cat-like demon, is summoned by Viola but isn't exactly controlled by her, as far as his character description reads.
