In the midst of all cutting-edge laptops tech revealed at the CES 2022, Asus has managed to grab the limelight with a couple of its ZenBook laptops. Specifically, it is the ZenBook 17 Fold which, as the name suggests, is a folding laptop utilizing the latest 12th Gen Intel processors. Alongside this, Asus has also released a special edition version of its ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition and an entire lineup of updated TUF gaming laptops.
Asus is yet to comment on availability and pricing of these laptops, especially for India. However, it has revealed everything there is to know about specs and features of these machines. The ZenBook 17 Fold is the company's first laptop with a folding display.
As the name suggests, the ZenBook 17 Fold has a 17.3-inch foldable OLED display with 2.5k resolution, Dolby Vision and Pantone Validated colours. When folded into a laptop state, the laptop offers a 3:2, 12.5-inch, 1920x 1280 resolution display on either side, upon one of which you can attach a detachable keyboard cover. You can also use the on-screen keyboard, if you are into that sort of things.
Inside, there's a 12th Generation Intel Core i7 U-Series processor, Intel Iris Xe graphics, up to 16 GB RAM and a fast 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. Connectivity options include two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, which support fast charging the 75Wh battery. The Zenbook 17 Fold OLED also meets the updated Intel EVO standards for foldable laptops.
