Amazon Games has seen some highs and lows recently. On one hand, we have the immensely disappointing New World, which seemed to break something every time it tried to fix the previous problem; and on the other we have Lost Ark, which has its bot issues, but was met with a great reception. Amazon is currently tied one-all when it comes to recently released games – nobody remembers Crucible anyway – with another game in the pipeline.
Amazon has entered into a publishing agreement with indie studio, Disruptive Games. The studio has played a supporting role on games like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, Godfall, and Diablo 2: Resurrected. While too many details about the game haven't been released as of yet, we do know that the studio is working on "multiplayer-first gaming experiences that immerse players in living worlds".
