Yara Zaya and Julia Trubkina of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise have shared both friendly and cold moments over the years, but fans believe Yara is definitely calling out her season 8 co-star in a recent Instagram comment. Yara and Julia appeared on both 90 Day Fiancé season 8 and 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6 alongside their respective husbands. However, only Yara and her husband Jovi Dufren are currently continuing in the franchise.
TLC officially announced six of the seven couples who will appear on Happily Ever After? season 7, which will air at the end of August after 90 Day Fiancé season 9 concludes. Though the seventh featured couple has yet to be announced, many viewers believe it will be a currently-featured 90 Day Fiancé season 9 new couple, such as Shaeeda Sween and Bilal Hazziez. While Ukrainian woman Yara and her husband Jovi will be returning to continue airing their relationship, Russian dancer Julia will not appear alongside her husband Brandon Gibbs. Julia informed fans that she believes she was not cast because she is Russian.

Reddit user u/Few-Replacement4373 shared an image from Yara’s recent Instagram story that saw her seemingly shading Julia’s recent comment. Yara posted a heavily-filtered image of herself making an exasperated face with the text, “my reaction when Russian people complain that the world discriminates against them.” The Reddit user asked fans if they thought Yara's post was meant to shade Julia, and 90 Day Fiancé viewers overwhelmingly agreed that it was a clear dig at the Russian dancer.
