Marvel Rejected Thor: Love & Thunder's Goat Chariot Idea Back In 2009
The God of Thunder’s beloved goats, Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr, were rejected during the development of the original movie before Thor: Love and Thunder. Marvel Studios introduced audiences to Chris Hemsworth’s titular Asgardian in 2011’s Thor, which was then followed up with Thor: The Dark World. Thor: Ragnarok famously reinvigorated the self-serious franchise and now, Taika Waititi’s sequel, Love and Thunder, is set to be released in theaters on July 8. In addition to Hemsworth, the film’s cast includes Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Jamie Alexander as Lady Sif, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Russell Crowe as Zeus, and Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher.
