Angela Bassett has reflected on filming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever without the original film's star, the late Chadwick Boseman. Scheduled to release in November, the sequel to the 2018 Marvel blockbuster has faced a tumultuous journey to completion, from the stunt injury of lead actress Letitia Wright, to a COVID-19 outbreak that delayed filming. Of course, the biggest blow was the loss of the Black Panther himself, titular star Boseman, who passed away after a battle with cancer in 2020. Writers have since reframed the storyline to continue without him, with most of the original film's cast reprising their roles.
