The snail handler behind Hulu's new thriller Deep Waterreveals Ben Affleck worked really well with the slimy creatures. Directed by Adrian Lyne, Deep Water is the long-awaited collaboration between Affleck and Ana de Armas that led to a brief real life relationship. The movie was once scheduled to premiere theatrically in November 2020, but following numerous delays and release changes, it debuted exclusively on Hulu this weekend. Despite boasting an impressive pedigree (as it's also based on a Patricia Highsmith novel), Deep Water hasn't been warmly received by critics.
