Star Wars: Bryce Dallas Howard Visited Natalie Portman On Prequel Set
Bryce Dallas Howard revealed that she visited Natalie Portman while she was filming the Star Wars prequels. Portman, who is an Oscar winner for her role in the Darren Aronofsky ballet-themed psychological thriller Black Swan, began her career as a child actress in 1994. In 1999, she played Anakin Skywalker's future love interest Queen Padme Amidala in the Star Wars prequel The Phantom Menace, later reprising the role in the remaining entries in the trilogy, 2002's Attack of the Clones and 2005's Revenge of the Sith. The character passed away in childbirth with her twins, who would grow up to be iconic Star Wars characters Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa.
