Bad Batch: What Happened To Clone Cadets After Order 66?
The fate of the clone cadets after Order 66 is left ominously unclear in Star Wars: The Bad Batch. Although the young clones are told that they’d become soldiers as intended, the Galactic Empire had just phased out their clone troopers in favor of the less formidable but cheaper (and more easily indoctrinated) TK troopers, the precursors to stormtroopers. Printed material in the Star Wars canon continuity, while not specifically explaining what happens to the young clone cadets, allows for several tragic answers to be extrapolated.
