How Chucky Season 2 Can Fix The Most Hated Child’s Play Movie
Syfy’s Chucky touches on every past movie in the franchise except Child’s Play 3 — but that doesn't mean Chucky season 2 can't fix this most hated of Chucky films. The 1991 slasher-comedy takes place eight years after Child’s Play 2 and sees a recast Andy Barclay sent to military school after bouncing around a series of foster homes. The notorious Good Guy doll Chucky again finds his way to Andy, but this time has a new target: 8-year-old cadet Tyler (Jeremy Sylvers). Child’s Play 3 was disliked by critics and fans alike, resulting in a poor 23% rating (via Rotten Tomatoes) and making it the poorest rated film of the franchise.
