Karl Urban Gives Conflicted Answer To Judge Dredd TV Show Involvement
Karl Urban, star of the 2012 sci-fi action movie Dredd, addresses questions regarding his involvement in the potential Judge Dredd TV series. Based on the popular British comic from2000 AD and written by Alex Garland (Ex Machina, Annihilation), the story of Dredd is set in a dystopian city called Mega-City One. It follows the titular protagonist, a law enforcer given the power of judge, jury, and executioner in the the post-apocalyptic cityscape. Along with his apprentice, Judge Anderson, Dredd is forced to bring order to a 200-story high-rise block of apartments and deal with its resident drug lord, Ma-Ma (played by Game of Thrones' Lena Headey).
