Josh Gad Explains Why He Turned Down Hosting The 2022 Oscars
Josh Gad is explaining why he turned down the opportunity to host this year's Oscars. The actor first found success on stage in 2011, starring as Elder Arnold Cunningham in the Broadway production of The Book of Mormon, a part for which he received a Tony Award nomination for Best Leading Actor in a Musical. After some short-lived television series and a number of smaller film roles, Gad became a mainstream presence by voicing Olaf in Disney's Frozen franchise. Other projects of his include Pixels, The Angry Birds Movie, Beauty and the Beast, Murder on the Orient Express, and the Apple TV+ show, Central Park.
