It’s time to phone home for some clues about today’s puzzle, because we can help you get the score you need to keep your streak and get more than just a “Phew.” There were some fairly random categories of words today, and I can see how one would get tripped up on it quite a bit.
I was able to finish this one off, so I can help you do the same. Check out the hints below to get this one hard and fast. When a puzzle feels particularly challenging or I just want something different, I check out the NYT’s Strands puzzle, which is a good, old-fashioned word search with the twist of not knowing what words you are searching for.
That makes it challenging but quite fun, and I love games that make me feel like a little kid again without feeling patronizing at the same time.
Check this out if you loved coloring in rows of words. This was a fun puzzle for me, and I thought it was well-designed. It was challenging enough that I didn’t immediately guess all the categories, but I was able to parse it out without feeling like I was on the edge of losing horribly.
There were some interesting categories and what seemed like a strange combination of words at first. Luckily, I figured it out, and it was amusing, to say the least, as to where “Bigfoot” ended up.
