A player had the wackiest ending to their week after getting two prismatic shards from a bat. This is a rare loot find for any player, and even more bizarre as the main player did not have a burglar ring, which would up the chances of such an amazing loot table.
With no logical explanation, and a look of complete shock, the player, Chuio, took to Reddit to discuss what happened to them and hypothesize what caused the stars to align perfectly enough to get two shards in one go.
Redditors came together to figure out how this happened and to celebrate the stroke of luck down in the mines. One commentergave a pretty good answer to the poster's query, with a much more logical conclusion than Chuio ever expected.
Chuio was exploring the mines, as most players do in. While down there, they killed a random bat that just so happened to drop two Prismatic Shards at once.
They were so stunned by the win that once it happened they just froze and looked into the camera. The player was on their first in-game year and noted that they didn’t have a burglar ring or anything that could have gotten them the double loot.
