Players control Drifters who venture to the surface and collect resources, battling mutants called Enders and other players.
Naturally, they won’t be doing so on foot, possessing a Cradlecoffin mech with an AI known as a Magus. You can customize the former with unique parts and weapons, unlock new variants or select different kinds of Magus.
Though you can cooperate with others on the surface, you can also betray them and take their resources. There’s an interesting system where too much backstabbing against fellow Association members sends you to a different map with other PvPers.
