As the Switch quickly became a bestselling console, Nintendo knows very well that its next generation should expect to see similar success.
With plans to launch with a new too, many players will be picking up the console to game along with friends. During a recent Nintendo Q&A (via ), president of Nintendo Shuntaro Furukawa revealed just how the company is gauging fan interest in the Nintendo Switch 2, and how it will impact the production of consoles.
Furukawa explained: «At this point, we are taking risks and proceeding with production so that we can meet as much demand as possible.
We would like to determine the level of initial demand and subsequent demand by observing the reaction after the information was released at the Nintendo Direct on April 2 and the reaction of customers who actually touched the product through the trial session.
