A new trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 has given us a very brief glimpse at Homelander, including showing off his two fatalities and letting us hear his voice for the first time.
No, we're not sure if it's Antony Starr, either. Although the original Mortal Kombat characters who were offered in Mortal Kombat 1's first Kombat Pack haven't been the most exciting (and were even seemingly cut from the launch roster), the third-party fighters like Peacemaker and Omni-Man have been a big hit.
As great as those two were, though, there's one that has easily stood out as the most anticipated - Homelander from The Boys.
Ever since the first Kombat Pack was revealed, Homelander has been the most talked-about character, although not always for the best reasons, as it's long been suggested that Antony Starr wouldn't be returning for the role.
This controversy, along with how popular The Boys has been in recent years, has had fans patiently waiting for his full gameplay reveal and release date.
