Among several major titles marked for release in 2025, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is one that has caught the eye of many, thanks in large part to the splash that its predecessor made when it launched several years ago.
Ahead of its approaching release, developer Warhorse Studios has now announced that the project has crossed another major milestone behind the scenes.
In a video message shared on Twitter, Warhorse Studios’ global PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling revealed that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has gone gold.
That means, principal development on the game has largely wrapped up, and the game’s gold master is ready to be sent out. The developer will, of course, continue to work on bug fixes and polishing the experience, but any work done on the game from this point forward will likely come in the form of pre-launch or day one patches.
The open world action RPG does, of course, still have a couple of months left to release, which means Warhorse Studios is going to have plenty of time between now and then to continue honing the experience.
