and are set to play a couple on a quest to protect their zombie-infected daughter in a new action-horror project called. Epilogue will be set a year after a zombie apocalypse terrorized the world, centering on a couple embarking on a dangerous journey to find a cure for their child who has been infected.
According to Deadline, Epilogue will be helmed by The Fall of the House of Usher’s Michael Fimognari from a screenplay penned by Luke Barnett and Tanner Thomason.
Following the success of Terrifier 3 in the box office, The Coven is set to launch the sales at the American Film Market next week.
It is being produced by Mortal Kombat’s Todd Garner for Broken Road Productions, Courtney Petrakis, and Brittney McDade. Siegel’s frequent collaborator Mike Flanagan is also attached to the project as one of the producers. “Set one year after the zombie apocalypse has supposedly come to an end, the film will follow a desperate couple who set out to find a cure for their infected daughter,” the plot description reads (via Deadline).
Siegel and Dastmalchian have impressed genre fans for their involvements in several horror projects. Siegel has worked in a number of Flanagan’s films and television shows, including Oculus, Hush, Ouija: Origin of Evil, Gerald’s Game, The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, and The Fall of the House of Usher, making Epilogue their latest horror collaboration.
