Outer Banks star has been tapped to join Lionsgate‘s upcoming movie, which will be led by Pirates of the Caribbean vets Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz.
Further details about Cline’s character are still being kept under wraps. Besides Outer Banks, Cline was also part of the all-star ensemble cast of Netflix’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.
She is currently in production for Sony Pictures’ untitled I Know What You Did Last Summer sequel, with original cast members Jennifer Love Hewitt Cline and Freddie Prinze Jr.
Cline will also next be seen in Amazon MGM Studios’ romantic drama movie The Map That Leads to You with KJ Apa. “In the film, a cruise ship bartender meets a mysterious day drinker—only for both of them to find themselves entangled in a criminal underbelly, and connected in unexpected ways,” reads the official synopsis.
Day Drinker will be directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay written by Zach Dean. The film hails from John Wick producers Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee, who are producing for Thunder Road.
