John Travolta has been tapped to headline the planned JFK thriller movie, with Oscar-nominated filmmaker Roland Joffé (The Killing Fields) attached to direct.
Sam Giancana’s nephew Nicki Celozzi wrote the script for November 1963. Celozzi is also producing the movie, with Giancana’s daughter Bonnie Giancana executive producing.
Travolta is set to portray Chicago Outfit’s mobster Johnny Roselli. In addition to Travolta, other actors that are set to lead November 1963 are Mandy Patinkin (Homeland, Criminal Minds) and Dermot Mulroney (Living In Oblivion, Anyone but You).
Per Deadline’s report, Patinkin will be playing Chicago Outfit head Anthony Accardo, while Mulroney is attached to star as Giancana’s bodyguard Chuckie Nicoletti.
Additional cast members have yet to be announced. The JFK thriller will reportedly revolve around the 48-hour period surrounding President John F.
