Despite widespread acclaim, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth failed to meet Square Enix’s commercial expectations upon its PS5 release a year ago.
Thankfully for the game, however, its PC release seems to have gone much better, bringing with it a much-needed sales boost.
That’s as per Circana analyst Mat Piscatella, who revealed recently on BlueSky that courtesy of its PC launch in January, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth saw significantly increased sales over the course of the month in the United States.
In fact, the open world action RPG ranked third in the regional monthly sales charts, behind only Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Madden NFL 25, climbing up from #56 in December.
Meanwhile, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth double pack climbed up to 16th place, a sharp increase from #265 in December.
