Coming from a team of former BioWare veterans and touting strong Mass Effect vibes, Exodus has turned plenty of heads since its announcement in late 2023.
However, the wait for the AAA sci-fi action RPG is going to drag on a little longer still, in case you were hoping to get your hands on it in the near future.
Hasbro, Archetype Entertainment’s parent company, has confirmed that Exodus will launch sometime in 2026. CEO Chris Cocks confirmed the same as part of the company’s recent quarterly earnings report, adding that the sci-fi title’s release will officially kick off Hasbro’s self-publishing and internal development plans in the video games space. “We have been investing in video games for over seven years, through our portfolio of over a dozen projects in various stages of development coupled with 100+ licensing partnerships.
I’m excited to show off our first project, Exodus, to the world when we launch it in 2026,” Cocks said. Later, he added, “New business opportunities like our self-published video games including 2026’s release,Exodus, will receive higher incremental investment.” During Hasbro’s earnings call, the company also announced that it is partnering with Saber Interactive, with the Space Marine 2 developer set to make a AAA game in a “tentpole” Hasbro IP.
