Exclusive Pomegranate Trailer Sets Release Date for Culture Clash Dramedy

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive trailer for, the upcoming comedy-drama about clashing cultures between two young women who live across each other.

This comes after Freestyle Digital Media successfully acquired the VOD rights to the movie. Check out the exclusive Pomegranate trailer below (watch more trailers): Pomegranate will be available to rent or own on all global digital HD internet, cable, and satellite platforms, as well as on DVD, starting March 4, 2025.

Its release date also coincides with both Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day. The film is written and directed by Weam Namou.

The cast includes Sam Rahmani as Niran, Zain Shami as Hassina, Ismail Taher as Ali, Natally Boutrus as Mary, Lamar Babi as Matthew, Basim Alameen as Sermad, Amanda Kashat as Nisreen, and Jordyn Kashat as Fatima.

It is produced by Sam Sako, with Scott Rosenfelt serving as an executive producer. “Set during the U.S. presidential election season of 2016, the film tells the story of a young, liberal, Iraqi Muslim refugee who struggles to find her footing in a neighborhood of well-to-do, conservative Chaldeans (Iraqi Christians).
